The Portsmouth Music and Arts Center (PMAC) will be holding a 1-Day Art workshop for teens and adults on Saturday, March 24 1- 5 pm, the cost is $75. The workshop, titled “How to Take Your Traditional Media Art and Make it into Products”, teaches the artist (professional or amateur), how to take the artwork created in traditional media and convert it into a digital file that the artist can then manipulate to create products such as bags, iPhone covers for notebooks, throw pillows and of course prints, etc. Participants will look at the websites and companies that are best suited to different needs and explore how to develop this next step in the artistic process!
The class is being taught by PMAC Art faculty Emily Kalina who teaches adult and youth art classes at PMAC. Emily is excited to share her knowledge from the past decade to artist in the seacoast area, “The thought of creating art digitally can feel overwhelming, but with a little practice you can discover a whole new universe of possibilities!” Early registration is encouraged as class size is limited, to register go online to https://www.pmacportsmouth.org/art-classes or call Katie at 603-431-4278.
