e.g. lack of equality, “social inequality”
Participants will attend a single workshop, and will initially respond to the question of What is your experience with inequality? through personal writing. The responses will be gathered and used to inspire the dancer, as they translate the text into dance.
After the brief presentation, participants will be facilitated through an open discussion relating to relationships to inequality in everyday life and emotions encountered through experiences of inequality.
The 45 – 60 minute workshop is confidential, however, participants’ agree to an audio recording of the session being used as reference during the creation of the final piece of work. Participants will be invited to an open rehearsal during the final stages of the creation of work in late May or early June.
