Mack the harp seal is being released in NH where he was found! The public is invited to witness the release at 5:15pm sharp, just north of the Sea Shell Stage, by the Lady of the Sea NH Marine Memorial at Hampton Beach.
The Seacoast Science Center Marine Mammal Rescue Team first responded to Mack on February 14, 2018. After just one month of rehabilitation at National Marine Life Center in Bourne, MA, he is fit, fat, and ready to return to the wild!
Thanks to contributions from the public, we are able to rescue seals like Mack. Don’t miss this rare opportunity to witness this amazing reward of your support!
We’ll have plush seals and other MMR merchandise for sale on the beach and donations are always accepted! Be sure to ENTER TO WIN a Family Membership Gift Basket and say thank you to our friends at National Marine Life Center for bringing Mack back to NH!
