Born and raised in the Mexican border town of El Paso, TX, Nacim began his musical career with piano lessons starting at the age of 10. He soon began to teach himself how to sing and play guitar to accompany himself. Not shortly after, he began classical training for the voice. Through this time he joined the choir and got to perform at Carnegie Hall in NYC after only a year of singing. The year after, he went onto compete in his state solo competition and took home first place for his vocal range, Tenor 1 and 2. This led him to applying and being accepted into Berklee College of Music on musical scholarship. Nacim left his classical training and began singing R&B/Soul music, after being raised on this genre since childhood. One semester shy of graduating with a Music Business degree, Nacim found his true passion in writing and performing. Since then he has been a part of various bands that have toured and played all over New England and parts of Texas as well as holding various musical residencies at venues all over the Boston area ranging from The Lansdowne Pub to Top of The Hub Restaurant to House of Blues Boston. Nacim now plays various venues a week including being a part of a high-end corporate band playing private functions. During his days off, Nacim is an accomplished songwriter in various productions for a wide array of artists, including himself.
