WEST END MASTER SERIES [Artist Talk]
While Portsmouth photographer David J. Murray spends much of his time shooting for architects, builders, real estate agents, magazines, and other area businesses, some of his most visible and fun work is as house photographer for The Music Hall, and as a pioneering practitioner and evangelist for the responsible use of photographic drones.
In this talk David will tell us how someone whose background includes teaching music theory at the college level, and 30 years of work as a Silicon Valley computer scientist and entrepreneur, ended up photographing famous performers in Portsmouth, sometimes from a few hundred feet in the air. He’ll also share some of his favorite Music Hall and Drone images, and tell the stories behind these pieces.
